Social Value at Day 1 People

Day 1 People support VCSEs, including Team Forces, in realising the social impact that is delivered through the projects and support that they provide.

We run employee-led Fitness Challenges each quarter open and accessible to anyone who wishes to take part. This promotes employee health and wellbeing and maintains a one team ethos.

Day 1 People acknowledge and recognise any employee activity outside of the workplace by nominating and congratulating regular Social Value Champions.

We allow employees to conduct volunteering duties 8 hours a year.

Day 1 People look to support military sports through the year by sponsorship and attendance at various event including: Army vs Navy Rugby, UKAFWSA Ski Championships, Armed Forces T20 and Henley Regatta (Military Rowing).
